MOVEMENT CLASSES
Always a lover of movement, I was first introduced to yoga by my dance teacher in high school, but it wasn't until after college that I truly fell in love with the way my asana practice ignited my awareness in all aspects of life, both on and off the mat.
My journey took me through many different styles of yoga and ultimately to the completion of a 200hr certification in krama vinyasa from Illumina Yoga. I have since added certifications in dance fitness, barre, and prenatal yoga.
I believe that yoga is truly for every body. My yoga is infused with dance to create a dynamic flow and I incorporate elements of trauma-informed instruction to create a welcoming environment for all to safely explore their own natural movement.
SWEAT
Periods of controlled, low-impact movement serve as active recovery between intervals of high intensity plyometric movement. Because you use your own bodyweight as resistance, no props are needed.
FLOW
This moderately-paced yoga class maintains a focus on moving in alignment with breath. Every class begins with a moment of grounding, moves through sun or moon salutations that transition into a flow centered around a theme, and concludes with a moment for meditation. AÂ variety of options are offered to meet everyone at their own level of experience.
PULSE
Target larger muscle groups as well as deeper stabilizing muscles with high reps of small, controlled movement. Occasionally, resistance bands and light weights are incorporated in this low impact, full-body workout designed to be accessible to all levels.
